Properties of Inverses Applied to Inverse Trigonometric Functions:

If -1 < x < 1 and -pi/2 < y < pi/2

Then sin (arcsin x) = x and arcsin (sin y) = y
Also, csc (arccsc x) = x and arccsc (csc y) = y
And tan (arctan x) = x and arctan (tan y) = y

If -1 < x < 1 and 0 < y < pi

Then cos (arccos x) = x and arccos (cos y) = y
Also, sec (arcsec x) = x and arcsec (csc y) = y
And cot (arccot x) = x and arccot (cot y) = y
