Project -- Quarter 4
Polar/Parametric Graphing Project
Due: May 7
1. On your calculator create a design using polar graphs or
parametric graphs. You may use as many equations as you like as
long as you can get them all on the screen at the same
time. You must use three or more equations. You may
not embellish your pictures with items you've drawn.
2. Print a copy of your graph, using a computer
grapher such as WCMGrapher. (A link for WCMGrapher is provided on the
website calender under “projects”.)
3. Color your picture artistically.
4. Paste it or laminate it to a piece of construction
paper.
5. Write (a) all equations you used, (b) the
window you used, and (c) the modes you used.
Your grade will be based on creativity, coloring & neatness,
instructions
being followed, using good equations, and writing good explanations.
