^Genealogy

^{On the paternal side
of my family, my Aunt through her mother (Kate Walsh Cotter) and her Grandmother
(Elizabeth Gordon) has had published a booklet giving a good bit of the
family history going back as far as the McNamaras in Ireland in the 1700's.
The information on the Cotter side from Dublin is scarce. That is where
I'd like to explore.}

^{On the maternal side,
the Lawyers and Minnicks, research has been accomplished by one of my mother's
great nephews.}

^{I've learned a lot about
my immediate family from a diary my father and my oldest sister wrote covering
a period of about eleven years. That has been a delight to read. I highly
recommend that practice. It would be a great gift to your future generation.}
