A group of ten senior citizen struggling artists meet every Wednesday on
a seasonal basis for lessons from our very capable teacher Betty Pittman.
Betty is a former Art Supervisor in the Memphis School System and has been
hired by the Memphis Arts Council to instruct seniors four-five months
out of the year. The rest of the year we are on our own. It has been a
great source of enjoyment spending many happy hours trying to create something
beautiful. Art seems to lift us out of ourselves and our aches and pains.
Hopefully, a "Grandma Moses" will develop within our group. If you live
