Scott Anderson is an F-16 Air Defense Pilot with the Minnesota Air National Guard. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and History from Standford University and is the author Distant Fires, 1991 American Library Association Best Book For Young Adults. Unknown Rider is his first novel.
