• NASA grant of one million dollars to Wooddale High School

• three year program for aviation/travel and tourism offered ONLY at Wooddale HS

• purpose of the program is to prepare students with a well-grounded knowledge of the aviation industry

• free summer academy for students entering ninth grade with aviation interests
