Omar Miguel Paez Martinez

 My name is Omar Paez and I am Senior Assistant Editor to the Wooddale Home Page. Being in the Aviation Program since my ninth grade year, it has introduced me to a world that I, not having the equipment, would have never known. I encourage everyone to learn more about this program or Aviation. It is an exciting and growing field of study that many can enjoy.

I have been involved in many activities thanks to this program. Without my involvement in this program I would never have realized a dream of mine, to fly. Now I have done it twice and it is an experience that I will never forget. Very few people have the thrill of sitting in the pilot seat, taxing, taking off, flying, and landing. Another of my experiences was just recently. I was allowed the privilege of speaking infront of the General Assembly of the state of Tennessee. I dined with Dr. Jane Walters, the state commissioner of education. My father, who went along with me, and I stayed at the Opryland Hotel which was awsome.

All-in-all this program has been a great influence on me throughout my high school days. I only reget not paying attention because of having so much fun learning new things.
