TRAVEL AND TOURISM MARKETING I HONORS

 

The Travel and Tourism Marketing Honors class has the same syllabus as the Travel and Tourism Marketing I class with additional objectives to ensure that the honors classes are enriched. The additional objectives by each six weeks are listed below.

 

First Six Weeks through Third Six Weeks Research Manuals

 

Objectives: The students will analyze product or service offerings, identify new and expanded customer products or service offerings, new and expanded customer segments, prepare a promotional plan and present the promotional plan to the business's owner/manager in a role playing situation.

Fourth through Sixth Six Weeks Trip Itinerary

 

During each of the six-weeks, students will plan a one-week itinerary for an assigned trip with different transportation and accommodations necessary.

 

Objectives: The students will determine transportation and accommodations for a one-week trip. Students will estimate the time frame and cost for the trip.
