GRADE LEVEL - SUBJECT:

12th Grade -Travel and Tourism Marketing

 

 TIME FRAME:

 One class period (1 hour)

 

 LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

 

1. To compose a list of hotel services

2. To determine the hotel services needed for special client needs

3. To determine hotel best suited for special client needs

  

CURRICULUM MATERIALS:

 

1. Classroom computers with internet capability.

2. Hotel brochures

3. Tour manuals

4. OAG Travel Planner Hotel & Motel Redbook

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1. The students will list hotel services available at different hotels

2. The students will be given a list of special client needs (forty senior citizens, three busloads of Jr. High students for

an overnight field trip, a family reunion of 50 relatives, etc.)

3. The students will select hotel best suited for each client with special needs determined by services offered.

4. The students will determine hotel services needed for the special needs for each group.
